Fractures

Fractures can occur as a result of stress due to repeated forces exerted over time, or from an immediate impact which can occur with a kick or a fall. With advances in veterinary surgery many fractures are now treatable; however, some fractures cannot be successfully treated and in these cases euthanasia may be the only option.
